We will worship together, pray together, receive prophetic encouragement, and be sent as the next generation of Kingdom sons and daughters to go out into all the earth, preaching the gospel to all creation. I lead a team that serves the international health industry with insights-led strategy. We created a technology platform to provide globally unique insights that inform our consulting for the world’s largest organisations in healthcare.
My career started in research and technology;
as a computer programmer my passion was creating new things. In the late 1990s
I was inspired by emerging internet technology which I believed was about to
change all our lives, and I wanted to be part of that. So together with my
wife, Jo, we launched the company that we now call CREATION. Within our first
year, we started working with doctors, clinics, and healthcare companies.
Today, we specialise in healthcare and work with some of the world’s largest
pharmaceutical companies and influential organisations in health.
When we launched the company 21 years ago, we
knew that Jesus had to be the head of the business. Since then I think we have
been discovering what He really wants to do with it. One thing I have
increasingly learned is that Jesus intends for His Church to be active every
day for him, wherever we are. So I see my work as an integral part of being
part of his Church, and I encourage those I work with to put their faith into
action in this way too.
Some years ago when I was praying about vision
for the company, God reminded me that even my wildest dreams do not come close
to what He can do, because He “…is able to do immeasurably more than all we
ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us” (Ephesians
3:20).

I see my work as worship because I do it to
serve the Lord first, and I believe He wants to work with me to accomplish His
purposes. In every aspect of my work I expect God to inspire my thinking and to
show me things I could not have known without Him, so that I can minister
effectively through what I do. This applies to setting strategy for our company
and leading the team, as well as working on individual client assignments.
At times God has given me a specific insight for a client to address needs I could not have known about; other times I have been able to pray for clients about issues they are facing, and they have seen a breakthrough.
This is encouraging but I am still hungry for Him to do much more through me and my team through our work. I believe the best is yet to come!
