GIVING
As disciples of Christ we believe that handling our finances well is important. Our giving is part of our worship to Christ and we should give cheerfully and voluntarily (2 Corinthians 9:7).

We do not demand anyone give money for anything, but encourage each person to give as the Lord Jesus directs. We teach the biblical principle of tithing (giving of 10% of your gross income) and then additionally giving of offerings as you feel appropriate, or as you feel the Lord Jesus is directing you.
The money is used for the running of the church buildings, for staff wages, and for various church projects and activities. Details of the finances are contained in the Charity accounts and presented at special Jubilee Information evenings.

Gift Aid
Gift Aid is an arrangement that allows charities (including churches) to reclaim tax on a donation made by a UK taxpayer. This means every donation will be worth 25% more, at no extra cost to the giver. If you would like to support Jubilee Church with Gift Aid, you simply need to complete a Gift Aid Declaration. A Gift Aid Declaration is the giver’s declaration that they wish for the church to reclaim tax on their gift and can be made for a single donation or multiple donations.
